You necessitate your crutches to board and deboard and to go to the restroom, so you will save them with you, any under your form or leaning up against the wall if you enjoy an inside seat, or, if an outside form, next to you within the aisle.
Passengers do not load or unload luggage. So you don't hold to worry roughly that. For carry on luggage, procure something with long handle so you can grip your crutch and dangle the bag near the same paw, or hand the rucksack on your shoulder.
If you are on crutches, then I would speak no there shouldn't be any extra cost. If you enjoy crutches you should be able to move around on your own.
A wheelchair is a different story though.
Answers: Keep the crutches subsequent to you on the bus. They would then be available to you when you catch on and off the bus. I didn't call for to pay any extra when I traveled on Greyhound next to them. They were nice and help me with my luggage. I did tip the individual who helped me. It wasn't really much but what I had at the time, give or take a few 2 or 3 dollars...
