I have to travel about 25 miles to and from institution four days a week, so very generally speaking waht description of gas mileage should I be looking for to satisfy my driving needs? Do I necessitate one of those cool 40 mpg cars or could I get away with a 23 mpg motor? Any ideas?
I hold a 2007 dodge caliber and I also have to go to academy 4 times a week (26 miles to get there and 26 to achieve back home.) I get something like 29 stop and go and 36 highway and I am very festive. My tank only holds 15gallons of gas, but it is great.
The coup¨¦ is a 4cylinder R/T all wheel drive and it go fast. I had a 6 cylinder previously this one and I thought I would notice the diffrence in speed and gas.
In speed I didn't catch sight of the diffrence, the car is a fast little sucker and it is awesome inside. In gas milage I notice a huge diffrence, I was getting 22 highway and now I'm getting 36 highway.
So I suggest anything above 30 is great.
I used to go to college 35 miles there and 35 final total of 70 miles a day 5 days a week. i have a v6 sedan that get 26 mpg on highway. get something you like not that freshly gets good mileage otherwise you are stuck near good mpg but bad acceleration.
