Answers: I assume you mean the white line surrounded by the center of the road, not the one on the edge. If it was the center, you can procure stopped for driving left of the center of the road. (you could get a ticket for this, but not likely) This is also a sign that the driver have had to much alcohol to drink or something is wrong and you can get pulled over so they can check.

Well, cops over here where on earth I live pull you over for the smallest little thing. I once took the wrong road, so I needed to turn around and go back...okay I went into a parking lot and turned around and got subsidise on the road and got pulled over! Cop told me that I didn't move about far enough into the parking lot before turning around. Mind you this be at midnight and everything was empty. They obscure everywhere, and soon as you pass by them, the take bad so fast after you and ride your bumper and wait for you to do the slightest movement beside your car so they can pull you over. The decree say to be centered in your lane (unless your a motorcyclist riding subsequent to another). If you are at the edge of your lane, you're not giving the guy in the subsequent lane his fair space.
