Would you commute roughly speaking an hour and 15 min. spinal column and forth to work/school everyday?

I'm currently in my ultimate year of high university and I'm applying to a college that's about an hour and 15-30 min. away by vehicle. And that's without traffic =) So that make a total of about 3 hrs of total commute everyday...would you do it?

For me, the college is too close to dorm but but I feel it's too far to drive an hour and a partly to back and forth everyday.

If you found the road smaller amount...

If its worth it to you then yeah I suppose I would. All you can really do surrounded by that situation is pros and cons. Whatever decision you fashion good luck.

That's not too close to dorm at adjectives. I knew relatives that lived 20 minutes away and stayed in the dorms.

Dorms are a prized experience, and at many colleges you will not be capable of get the full college experience unless you live on campus. If you're really trying to free money, you can get an apartment 10-15 minutes away from campus and drive or lift a bus. Otherwise, definitely step for dorms your first year.

This have to do near Brookline, Massachusettes....

Answers:    Go live within the dorm. College life isn't merely about classes. It's in the order of being around after classes too. You'll know how to meet more general public & bond.

You don't want to be a 9 to 5 student & 3 hrs/day commuting = 15 hours out of your week. That time can be better spent studying, working on a campus job or internship that exposes you to other field of study, team sports, clubs, etc.

My husband be in a similar situation & is extremely glad he decided to live surrounded by an apartment near campus as a verbs student. He's still friends w/ a couple of his roommates and is sure he wouldn't have enjoy college as much if he had be a commuter. He came from a small town & the move exposed him to lots of different relations; it opened his eyes to a complete new world.
