Im going to college next year contained by new orleans, and i live contained by houston. I was looking at buying a truck. I looked at some used Land rover discoveries and they be pretty cheap. there be one that was a 2003 or 2004, and have 54000 miles, and it costed 13998.(to keep surrounded by mind im going to try to use the truck for about 5 more years) Is that truck appropriate or bad? And is it a devout reliable truck to have? And lastly is it going to be expensive to hold up? If so how much do you think?
The land rovers are cheap because ethnic group do not want them. They are in the shop more than doing a tour. Remember if it sounds to good .............
Rover be a great vehicle but in the concluding ten years or so they are nothing but a headache.
With a used sports car or truck it is hard to speak about. I would think that you would be better bad getting a Ford or Chevy where in that are plenty of parts floating around, if you need them. There are also profusely more dealers and repair shops that are around. The parts would also be cheaper and more mechanics that are au fait with the engines. An Explorer or Expedition, or a F-150 super hackney cab at the least.
pious luck with university.
Answers: I hold a Land Rover Discovery. It is not reliable, and upkeep is very expensive.
I have always looked-for one, I thought they looked fun to drive- and they are. But they aren't made well at adjectives. It has be in the shop multiple times and several electrical things enjoy just stopped working- it unsophisticatedly is just slowly falling apart. Something minor seem to break every couple of weeks (sunshade, gas lock, auto lock, radio knob, etc.). When I mention this to others, everyone seems to already know that home rovers are crap. I wish someone would own told me before I bought it!!
Good luck!!
