172 MPH? Was it a publicity stunt?

When I had a Porker Turbo bloody item went flat at 150 and moral job it did as needed both lane of autobahn to keep it on road. I dont believe Tim Brady could enjoy got anywhere in the vicinity 172 on an A road, was therre any documentation or be it just the speed trap operator word?

Answers:    Not a publicity stunt. The driver had borrowed the saloon from his employers.

Police evidence be based on a Radar speed trap. A printout of the reading from these is possible. Without it I doubt he would own been convicted. He be charged with dicey driving , not with speeding.

Some UK A roads are right enough for it to be possible.

This is not the UK speed trap text. A Porsche, as used in the Le Mans 24, be measured at 214 mph on the M1 near Northampton. The driver be not convicted because of a technicality, the radar gun was with the sole purpose calibrated up to 180 MPH.

I've never see documentation, but I believe it. I live here in Europe and we are given warning that if we want to drive faster that 90 mph on the autobahn we need to own a special kind of tires. I assume you didn't enjoy those and that's why yours went flat. Hope this help you out.
