hello, i just bought a 1994 geo metro, runs and looks great. my problem is the motor has booklet windows, i can roll them down fine but when i travel to roll them back up they want to crash down forward.
the drivers and passenger door windows both do it. i hold to pull up on the chalice with one mitt and roll it on up with the other!!
is this a adjectives problem with these cars?
does anyone know what the problem could be and how i can fix it?

Answers: Your window rollers are jump out of the track. this is a problem with the more ecomical type cars. Mainly chevys. This can be fixed by replacing the plastic stops ($1-2) and the rollers on the tracks it is in the order of a $15 per door.
They mite also have a broken guide that locks the glass in place when it is adjectives the way up but to be exact kinda highend part for a Geo.

Try oil the front and rear channel first with WD-40 or silicone spray.
If that doesn't work, you may necessitate new regulators for your window.
