I just just now got the alien 07 WRX STI but I still have my 1999 dodge neon..I plan on turning it into a 1/4 mile coup¨¦ I would like to know where on earth I can start out with as far as spending nil to then spending money on parts....a checklist would be nice of the things I should do contained by order of Least cost to greatest cost...Thanks Yahoo community

then stir to the usual I/H/E
then shift transimission mods
then progress exhaust mods
at the end turn with engine mods
within is a lots of things you can do. it would take too much time to detail them. But i just told you the plain mods people do.

Panels, dashboard, speakers, mat, seats, nouns insolution, non chasis supporting metal, etc. That is free. Next move on to engine, turbo is probably the cheapest method to go. Intake, exhaust, intercooler, next replace the internals, forged knife edge crank, piston, rods, new valvetrain, tuning etc. Then do sticky tires and wheel, reduce rotational inertia. Then start replacing body panel with carbon fiber. Swiss cheese the chasis to remove the colour and strenthen the parts that need stuctural integrity. Roll coop. Polycarbonate windows. Lightweight spaces, anything and everything make lighter, and stronger.
