i think that its fiesta that fuel goes up, if we are going to reduce polution later its the only way forward. If you are not driving a coupé that does 45 to the gallon, then you are saying you do not call for the most economical car available ( because why ? probably because you can afford the extra fuel your chosen car uses )
and everyone know if you drive slower, you save fuel, so if you tonk it down the road, you are also giving the message that the fuel price is not too much of a burden yet.
When it affects general public, and results in reduced mileage, the government will do something. Until next, they will just assume we are moaning.
