Can I do my Driving Pratical Test beside Penalty Notice card?

The police took of my provisional license and the paper part from me a week from my practical examination because of traffic offense. I learnt it might not be returned until 4-6 weeks. But I have my practical testing in a weeks time. Can I go for the practical interview with the penalty concentration card which has my provisional licence details on it or I have to undo the test & wait for my license to be returned?
