Answers:    About $5,000 dollars and because it is a voluminous luxury car it would require a bigger engine, cause the fuel economy to be around the same as a conventional coup¨¦.You would ditch the V6 or V8 that came near it,put in an in-line four cylinder, hook up a generator instead of a nouns, and convert the wheels to electric propulsion. And it would require generous rechargable batteries to power the sports car when going less than 40 miles per hour. There are a few mechanics that be profiled on the radio that specialize in it.With partly your car's life gone, you're better sour trading it in.Our local consumer advocat prefers compacts approaching the Scion or Element to a hybrid;repair bills are pricey.

Need suggestion on a saloon buying edict?

Sure you CAN but why would you want to? Any meager savings you would see within fuel mileage would never equal what you would spend on the conversion, (probably $10,000 just to find it operational -- labor, research, battery, electronics, etc, etc). You will be leagues ahead to simply buy a soaring MPG vehicle like a diesel VW or a Honda Civic.
