for the hazard perception member, what exactly defines a peril? when do i click? apparently a hazard is whenever you are required to own a change of speed... so if surrounded by the clip for eg, it is approaching a sharp bend, do i click?
any extra info for the hazard perception module of the test would be greatly appreciated!!
Answers: The see perception clip are to test your power to identify DEVELOPING hazards (i.e. vehicle / people / animals - things that move) not static hazard like bends, junction, traffic lights etc.
There are 15 clips , one of which will have 2 hazard but you are not told which one is the double clip so don't assume that because you have see one hazard that another one won't follow within the same clip. You with the sole purpose click when a hazard begin to "develop". For example if you see a parked car afterwards this isn't a developing hazard. If the vehicle started to signal or move then the see has started to "develop".
Avoid "rhythmic" clicking of the mouse as this will be identified as cheating but don't be afraid to click several times for respectively clip. The best way to do it is consider you are a nervous passenger contained by the car & the driver isn't especially good.
When you see something that you reason would make the driver brake after click. As the clip continues click again when you need to relay them to brake & click again at the point where you would be shouting "BRAKE!" This technique will usually guarantee that you win on every clip.
A hazard is any type of emergency for which you must stop and use your peril warning lights.
