Driving sour from an uphill road & merge on fundamental road?

Currently learning how to drive from a private instructor. Having problems when driving past its sell-by date from an uphill road. Have been asking like mad of my friends & colleagues. Given me different answers. Here's the scenario & method being taugh: driving uphill around Siglap nouns (located in Singapore), come to a Stop sign, once reached the Stop sign, I without delay engaged my foot brake & depress my clutch, pulled up handbrake, find the biting point, once found hold it within, release handbrake then step onto accelerator. Problem: Car any rolls back or go dead. Got lecture by instructor in the sports car umpteen times & I'm totally so depressed over it. Most of my friends told me is find biting point, tap for a moment on accelerator then release handbrake to move stale. So can someone tell me which is more just right for a learner driver? Thanks.

Answers:    As you are waiting on the side road to merge into the main, maintain your hand brake occupied while your feet are on the clutch and accelerator purchase that bite pt. Once the road is clear for you to move off, exert more pressure on your accelerator and release clutch only a little formerly your release your handbrake.

This will ensure that your car do not stall or roll wager on. You will get it after more practices.

Your friends are correct. Let the clutch out to the catch-point, rev up the engine, and consent to the clutch out a little previous the catch-point. THAN release the handbrake. The idea is to hold the clutch already partially unavailable and the engine revved so that when the handbrake comes off, in that is forward moment for the car. Like driving a stick at adjectives, this takes lots of practice!
