I have an 89 camaro with a 2.8l V6. Out of e10, e 25, and e 85, whats the unmatched grade of ethanol mixed gas that i can put in my motor without harming the engine or any of the rubber hoses surrounded by the engine?
10% is what they use at a lot of gas stations. Other than that you are looking at E85 (Flex Fuel) which your car is not intended to use. I've never see E25, but if you don't know, I wouldn't use it.
From what I have read it is lone 10 percent E85 that you can use.
Answers: Most vehicles can safely pocket up to 10% ethanol (E10), but do check your owner's manual. If you do the math, based on your vehicle's cistern size and amount of fuel still in it, and if you are somewhat accurate in your gas pump jockey skills, you could self-mix E85 (85% ethanol) and regular gasoline (provided it doesn't enjoy any ethanol in it already) to get yourself a 10% ratio of ethanol to gasoline...
Only a vehicle designed as a flex-fuel vehicle can use higher ethanol concentrations, such as E85 fuel (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline). You should only use E85 fuel within a vehicle that is designed to use it, called a flex-fuel vehicle (or labeled E85 capable).
also details that there are few E85 fueling stations, so most flex-fuel vehicles never in actual fact run it. (even though the automakers get a 1.2mph bonus credit to their CAFE averages for each flex-fueled vehicle they get rid of!) You can look up E85 refueling stations here:

I haven't heard of any stations offering E25, but I think I've hear of E65 offered somewhere in Europe...
