I am a new car sale man and was wondering if any one had any concept as to how I can boost sales
0% APR/No payments & no interest for 3 months/dont be a "sleazy" salesman and alwase ask for the sale
Answers: Research the cars you sell... become a niche peddler (trucks, performance cars, mini-vans), find out what your customer is like and suggest the impeccable fit... if an old lady walk into your showroom, steer her towards the full sized boats... a mom of 3 comes in.. bingo, she needs a mini-van... and so on. I see so several sales guys trying to steer customers into crap they couldn't use just because of a larger commission. Be competent to quote mileage figures quickly and accurately and commit engine and nouns specs to memory. Be courteous and understanding, as this is a major purchase... don't be so pushy. I've sold cars in the past and I know the last thing I want is a vulture standing over me or accost me in the parking lot. Approach your customer with your card and enlighten them you'll be available at anytime while they shop ! Good luck, as it is a hard way to breed a living... I should know !

Want to know what i think? Ive purchased several new cars over my lifespan.and one entity that ticks me off more than anything is a PUSHY SALESMAN. Dont try to be pushy, dont try to cheat people. There are dozens of other places relations can go to buy a car. I hold walked out on countless salesmen who were trying to verbs crap just to get a better, more honest promise. Dont try to cheat people on their trade either. Not adjectives of us are stupid. Offer them a decent price for it and be done with it.
Back within 1994 i walked out of every Jeep dealer contained by my town because they were trying to pull crap-i terminated up driving 40 miles to another dealership where the guy was more honest and straightfoward. And it be worth it.
Treat anyone that walks or rides onto your lot as someone who is going to give you money. DOn't converse down to the women.
Define the customer's needs and wants. Listen to them, and repeat spinal column for clarification. Also, ask lots of questions.
As you gain experience, you will be able to "read" ethnic group better and faster--but remember--the customer IS your paycheck. Treat them with respect. They will remember that. Ask for referrals. Stay contained by contact with past sale.
