If you can still hear the motor going, or it rises on its own, even if its basically a little bit, you can replace just the antenna. They cost just about 20 US dollars and can only be found at the dealerships with a prepaid command. you just remove the little nut with a special tool, or by abuse some needle nose pliers. Have a friend turn the radio on and stale as you pull the old antenna out. Then give notice the radio on, and feed the new antenna surrounded by. Once its in as far as it will go, hold him shut off the radio. The gears should catch and it will start to suck contained by the new antenna. You should be able to digit out the rest on your own

If it is making noise during this process, you may want to clutch it into a specialist and have them diagnose any symptoms and give you a prognosis as to what it will pilfer to make it function normally again.
I'm sorry to hear that your pleasure is self limited by a shaft that won't extend all the style.
You may want to research a replacement that never goes down. They are functional at a moments notice and will never depart from you disappointed.

If it was "a power antennae " at one time it will have a nylon rod up its middle within the inside so unless you can turn the gears in the gear box or break the nylon rod it won't come up.suck it hard
