Answers: Depending upon the year Corvette you are looking at, it went through several pigment change and name change.
In the C4 is Competetion yellow, it have three color changes 1990, 1991-1993 and consequently 1994-1996
Then in the C5 you have Millenium yellow which appeared within 2000 and carried over to the 2005 Corvette.
2006-2008 (possibly longer) the color changed to Velocity yellow and be a bit more crisp than the Millenium yellow.
newly simply tell the auto paint supplier that you would approaching to paint your car the corvette washed out color, if there is any confussion simply tell them the sun-yellow color they'll know what your discussion about. you may want to vision different yellows first to make sure it will be only just the color you are looking for if you request that, they will have no problem showing you sample.
