are there any ways to prevent ice on window.maybe windex on the window at dark to prevent it from freezing .cooking oil with hose.? these are a few I have heard of.of corse ...cooking grease won't work...but that was an example.any home remedies?
To prevent ice you lately need to keep the windshield dry and away from moisture... resembling in a garage. Or like others said, merely cover it with some sort of barrier close to a tarp or cardboard. At least company actually sell a magnetic tarp for just that purpose.

Answers: at wal mart they have this aditive that go in your winsheld wiper fluid water. and theres also de icer that you can spray while theres rime it acctualy works i use it and i live in utah "the gratest snow on the earth" thats what our plates read. but use windex durring the day try once simply and that night place it under your saloon port if not a garage. and if its outside then of late leave it to see what it does cause i would do that after i wash my car and the next morning my sports car was the only one lacking that fog on my windows it was prety cool

Easier way is to plug within a portable electric heater inside the car. Run an extension cord to it and move out it run over night, or put it on a timer to start up a couple hours before you stipulation the car. Keeps the windows clear and the inside nice and heat up.
