I'm seriously thinking about doing one of these crash course driving things where you revise to drive in a week
Has anyone ever done it?
Is it realistic that you can drive at the back of it.
It really suits my circumstances at the minute but just thought I'd see people's oppinions of it first.
I'm in the U.K by the method.

You can learn how to drive in a hour its not that complicated its your exprience on the road that makes you a better driver and after 1 week let be serious if you pass a driving test beside 1 week of driving it will probly be a fluke.
Wont learn much and you need to check next to your insurance company and see if they will except this type of driver course.

I would individual recommend a crash course for people who really have no alternative - such as someone contained by the Forces who is on leave for a limited interval.
Although there are companies who make a big hoo haa give or take a few offering crash courses, they don't very often point out that such courses enjoy a notoriously low pass rate! Also, the cost of so call 'guaranteed pass' courses is often ridiculous when you really delve into the detail.
There really is no substitute for getting as much driving experience as you possibly can before taking the examination - you are much more likely to pass first time that method.
As susie says, take a couple of module and then discuss it with your instructor - simply make sure you get a pious one - at least grade 5, preferably a 6 (ask for their level and certificate of proof - a good instructor will be glad and proud to confer it).

I took my vehicle test years after my motorcycle test, after which I be very confident on the law of the road already and put contained by for my car test after my first lesson as I be ready, but if you've never driven in traffic formerly and are nervous, then you'll really be up against it from the stale. It'd work in some cases, but not for everybody.

It all depends how seriously you take the course, if you want it doomed to failure enough and you can assert yourself.
study as much as you can prior to taking the course, work hard and i promise you that you will go beyond.

i recently thought about this myself, as i live within a village and the bus venue is really bad, so i want to swot up pretty quickly. i have taken driving module before but it has be about 15 years ago! i phoned up a few driving schools and ask them roughly speaking the advance courses, and explained that i had taken course before, but it had be a long time. they said that it all depended on how quickly i picked it up again, so instead of only paying for a crash course, it was best if i had 4 or 5 regular lessons first so they could judge this. the entry is, that if you pay straight off for a crash course, nearby is always the chance that you dont pass by at the end of it. some driving schools settle up for you to take another test right away if this happen, but if you still dont pass, then you would enjoy to start paying for normal lessons again, so that would be even more money! you might be better taking a few ordinary lessons first and see how you get on, consequently they will tell you if its worth you taking the crash course. hope this helps. righteous luck.These things have always puzzled me.
