If I leave the pallid on inside the car during a 3 hour outing will it run the battery down?
If I head off the light on inside the motor for 3 hours while it's parked will it run the battery down (too much)? Thanks
Answers: The alternator should hang on to the battery charged and compensate for any discharge whilst the engine is running. Whilst stopped near will be some obvious discharge from the interior lantern, but if the battery is biddable, shouldn`t drain it enough to prevent starting, and once the engine is running again the discharge will be made up.
as long as the engine is running you're fine its when its switched stale you get within trouble.
