Peugeot 106
Peugeot 206
Peugeot 306
Renault Clio
Citroen Saxo
Vauxhall Corsa
Just so you all know im not planning to see around the streets like a total idiot, im sensible(I similar to to think anyway)~
What about Honda Civic, Toyota Scion
I have a ford fiesta and looooove it! I required a golf or 206 but glad i have this presently!
Cheap to run and easy to win parts for! Perfect!
Answers: What is your budget? Are you need luggage space? What sort of money can you afford to spare on petrol and servicing?
I had a Clio which I maintain basically myself, comfy, reliable and cheap to run. I've also have a Pug 106, Again easy to work on, and fun to drive. Need a obedient one.
Only advice I can contribute that is worthwhile is, Buy European cars (Preferably french) as they are cheap to insure, lots doing a tour (Cheaper parts) and designed for economy. Avoid Japenese as they are pricey.
Look for Diesels as they are cheap to insure, cheaper to run and engines end a while. 306XRD is my choice of peugeot (Avoid Turbo'd Diesels for obvious reasons) Vauxhall Astra 1.7D is a strong coup¨¦, but get one near some spec (LS model or higher) Ford Escort 1.4 is more expensive than 1.8TD models to insure etc... Avoid VW as they are premium brand.
Good Luck.
