WHY do ambulances always drag chains? I other wondered this. Every time an ambulance drives by they are ALWAYS dragging these chains.......

Can I take home $15,000 a month...

Answers:    I'm not sure , but I will take a SWAG at it. They are probably static chains to ground the vehicle electrically. The ambulance is loaded next to electronics such as very expensive medical emergency equipment, EKG machines and the communications radios. The strap help protect the vehicle and the contents ( including the occupants) in the event it is hit by soaring voltage like a downed electrical nouns line or lightening etc.
They used to be required on adjectives fuel trucks, probably still are.

Have you ever be nickle and dimed...

they do?
