I own a 91 Jaguar XJS V12 (coupe), an 85 Mercedes 380sl Europeon model w/soft & hard top, and a 94 BMW 740i. All are salaried for, but all own minor problems and I want to sell one to buy a newer vehicle (w/warranty) or really dig a hole (joke) and obtain an 80's Porsche Targa (yes, I know Targas aren't the most popular 911 but they are my faves & are less than the cabriolets or others).
Which ones would you stay near and which whould you sell?
As a bit of more setting:
The Jag always have problems and is in the shop give or take a few every 2 or 3 mos (last things were shocks, fuel pump, alternator), but it is a classic edition and is 'mint' except for a rip in the spinal column seat. Owned it for 3 1/2 yrs.
Mercedes have a rebuilt engine which have been a dream for years, but very soon tranny is leaking & wishes tires. Owned it for 7 yrs. Also mint.
The BMW I got for a steal, but fell asleep at controls & clipped guy in front of me - dent contained by front of the hood & fuel pump problems. Owned for 1 1/2 yrs.
