Hi, I'm a college student and I'm looking to buy a 350Z. I've been saving up for this motor for a while so I can hopefully afford it soon, but how much is the insurance for it?
I'm 19, i have a clean story, and I get good grades.
I want a Nissan 350Z Enthusiast 6 speed almanac.
How much would the insurance be?
Probably up the butt huh.
The best article to do is call a LOCAL independent agent. Don't go across town, or to some other city - look for someone CLOSE. Just look contained by the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be able to help you solve your insurance problems, and endow with you rate comparisons of several different companies.
An independent insurance agent will normally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot oblige you, he should be networked with other local agents that can.
In my agency, we hold companies that do NOT run a credit score and welcome drivers next to "less than perfect" driving records and specialize contained by youthful operators!
As far as the color - the color doesn't net the rates go up... YOU make the rate shift up. Just remember that a RED car, PARKED in the driveway of your house, is going FORTY MILES AN HOUR. Police newly NOTICE red cars more than some less "sedate" color, and tend to stop them more for violations.so, more tickets and accident equals higher premiums.
Most of the replies on this site say "be in motion to this on-line carrier or that on-line carrier or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user near a script to work from and you won't be able to settle with the same character every time you have a problem!
Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps

i was going to buy a 350z 2 months ago but for me to own insurance on the car just beneath my name wouldve been 550 a month near allstate and i was 19 at the time and had a verbs record. as for the color of the car making insurance high..that is outdated..they stopped raising insurance raison d`¨ētre of color a while back
Buy a TON of lottery tickets. Your insurance rates won't decrease because of your good register. The color of the car matters, too. Red is the most expensive. I love the Z cars - esp 280 ZX, 260 Z, etc. Not cheap by any vehicle...oh, and if you live in NM, you had better dance ahead and play the multi-state powerball..

step to progressive.com or geico.com or allstate.com and get a quote.
ps. it is a myth that red cars have difficult car insurance.

Typically, insurance rates will vary from State to State and can even swing by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving record. Some companies run credit ranking es and MOST run a motor vehicle report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed accident involvement. The best article to do is call a LOCAL independent agent.
