Hey there. This morning I be unfortunatley in a 3 vehicle pile up. While driving through a traffic circle, a man began to cross the street beside his dog at the exit I was going to. There be 4 vehicles ahead of me. I don't know whether or not the character in front did not see him, but adjectives 4 vehicles stopped immensely abruptly, as did I. I be then rear-ended by the soul behind me, and pushed into the pickup truck immediatley ahead of me. Luckily, a police officer be driving past the scene and took adjectives our info and wrote up a report right there.
All this have been sent to the insurance company to treaty with, but I am wondering, who's at slate? Is the person who rear-ended me at criticize for everything, or am I at fault for the vehicle ahead of me that I be pushed into?
Answers: The person that hit you would be the one at breakdown for not having their own coup¨¦ under control. However, the guy surrounded by front of you may try to claim against you unless have proof that you be stopped and then pushed into him. Did the officer in fact see the accident or of late come after the fact? Hopefully, you or the police took photos of the skid results, etc. Was anyone ticketed at the scene?
