Accident... My mistake?

I got into an accident next to one of my friends last week. I was going faster than the restraint and he wanted to joke around so he changed his lane right formerly I got to his car. I tried not to hit him but I did. My sports car got most of the damage and theres a prevailing conditions dent on his car.

We swaped insurance information and we went home.

My insurance be cancelled because of Non-Payment. It was my sisters car that I be driving so I didn't know about their insurance.

Now after a week he called me and he said that my insurance won't cover cuz its cancelled for non sum.

And they think I'm at fault! But if it wasn't his criticize, it was at least a 50-50 twist of fate.

His mom told me to take them cash or they will sue us. I told them that they hold to get a Statement and then we can chat.

What should I do now? I will pay my sisters giving to get the insurance. Shes gone on a long trip. She won't be back soon.

But what should I do next to him and his mom? :(

I enjoy a saloon but no license,...

I would have to say that is to say a bad idea at this point to notify an insurance co. if near is any hope of resolving this -- especially since there is NO hope of getting covered by the insurance!
All this does is SCREW UP sister's insurance.
The fact you are an adjuster wouldn't come into play here would it?

Will florida suspend my liscense if I...

It sounds like you rear done him and unfortunately it's mostly, if not fully your imperfection. It doesn't matter what the vehicle in front of you did. You are required to follow the speed constraint and to have enough distance. Had you not be going faster than the speed limit, you probably would've had more time to counter to him jumping in front of you.

As far as expense, you will have to ask your friend to get an estimate of the repairs and foot him in cash. Even if you reinstate your sister's insurance or take another insurance, they won't cover the accident because the vehicle you were driving be uninsured at the time and date of the accident, so no insurance company will cover for that period.

Just be aware that if you don't own a police report of the accident, it becomes your word against his.
You aren't going to close to this, but you drove an uninsured vehicle (which is illegal in most states) have an accident with it. I reckon your easiest way out is to pay adjectives the damages to your friends car, get a release from further liability from them and consider it an intellectual expense. If they sue you, you may be in more trouble than you think.

Insurance and Plates for driving my saloon...

You are always supposed to drive with satisfactory room so that if someone in front of you slams on their brakes, or someone in front of you surrounded by a different lane changes into your lane quickly, you will hold enough time and room to hit your brakes and not collide into their car, so technically you are at idiosyncrasy.
Speaking non-technically and non-legally it was your friends fault for making a dumbass move and pulling into your lane, but contained by the eyes of the legal system I believe you are at fault.

Your one and only saving grace is that you hit him on the side and not the back, so there is a small chance he will be at scorn, but I would not count on it.

If your friend is a true friend he would pay for at least partially of it, knowing that it was his mess up that caused you to hit him, but technically since you be speeding as well you both made unwise decision.

all of this does not take into vindication whether you were insured or not, which will also effect the outcome.

Sorry bro, you live and learn though.
Insurance follows the coup¨¦. So if the car belonged to your sister then her policy is first within line. If she did not have ample coverage, then any policy you had would come into play.

Call your sisters company and report the claim to them.

Even though near is not a police report- the insurance company can still do an investigation and determine fault.

If the accident happen as you say it did - he changed lanes and you hit him contained by the doors - the accident may be his fault. With out speaking to you contained by more detail and the other driver - and looking at the damage to the vehicle - the only article I can tell you is it may not be all your blame.

Need plates for a saloon near no...

no insurance your at quirk for driving. I would set up payments. A lot of states arrest you for driving w/o insurance these days.
Sounds like you're both at error and it could be argued either way, even though I agree if he switched lane in front of you he is more at fault. Unfortunately near absence of witnesses and conflicting statements, whoever has the rearend destruction typically gets away with zilch.

Don't sweat the mom threatening to sue you, "good luck" is what I'd tell her as they'd probably enjoy a hard time finding an attorney (particularly if there is no insurance coverage) to bring the case if you were both competent to drive away from the accident. But who needs the hassle of an impending lawsuit - try to craft peace, I'd tell those folks you'd be willing to foot all of your car desecrate and half of theirs since your friend was horsing around and contributed to the coincidence. If they can't meet you half route I'd make them sue, unless you and or your sister have seriously of assets. You can't get blood from a stone.
i would have to vote your buddy is at fault. he changed lanes when u where on earth beside him. but really its both your faults for screwing around . i would enjoy to say split the damage 50-50- and report his mom stone cold said so!

Answers:    He's got you by the ____s . You had no insurance at the time of the disaster. So legally you had no right to be doing a tour. And if you weren't on the road the accident could not own happened. So sorry its legally your quirk.
