Wouldn't both insurance company have to settle me what the car is worth?
When I be 18 a women hit me and her insurance company only salaried what the car be worth. I figured, if I could own the car insured by two different insurance companies my saloon would be paid for surrounded by its entirety. Is this illegal and will it be beneficial for me? I know that here is insurance that is call (gap insurance) that you can get when you purchase a saloon and it will pay the remaining stability on the car. However, I don't want to wander away with no vehicle and no money for my investment if I get into a vehicle accident.

Answers: No, as you would expect not. Insurance is meant to assist put you in matching position you were surrounded by immediately prior to the luck. If you carried 2 policies, you would have a not easy time getting either of them to payment, because each would right to be heard the other company is responsible.
Putting duplicate claims in on 2 policies would if truth be told be insurance fraud.
The only time it is permissable to enjoy 2 policies on the same vehicle is a transition between companies. If you hold JoBlow Insurance and move to a state the company does not have a licence for, and you bring back JoSmith insurance, you will have 2 policies until JoBlow get your signed cancellation. Of course, you would simply get coverage from one policy if you have a claim in the transition.
I am a licenced broker, registration agent, and driver licence issuer.
No you can not because if you do bring in a chance the insurance companies will fight over who have to pay it.
