Can I register expired license plates and use them on my coup¨¦?

I just found some antediluvian license plates lying in a toolshed surrounded by my backyard. They are Ontario plates from 1979 and 1980. This was previously Ontario even used stickers on plates. Obviously, the plates are expired. The previous owner must have in recent times tossed them into the shed and forgot about them.

By at ease coincidence, I just bought a sports car. Can I put one of these plates on my car, pinch it to the MTO and register it? Will they give me a 2008-9 sticker to put on the plate?

If not, why not?

If I am going to register the plate using my actual name, address, etc., next what is the problem?

I think it would be cool to enjoy one of these old plates on my motor. So is there some means of access I can work around the rules and legally acquire these plates back into the system?

Hey, it's right for the environment. They won't have to produce a brand hot plate.

Hit and run. non injured/deaths. what can...
