I do not own a car at this time. I will be renting a vehicle to move about out of town next weekend. I assumed that I could purchase insurance through the rental agency. After reading the description of the Damage Waiver (which is available for an other charge), I see that it is NOT insurance. Am I able to rent a vehicle lacking my own auto coverage? How do I go just about this? Please site sources for your anwswers. Thanks!
Answers: Most major coup¨¦ rental companies will provide you with liability coverage on your rental! You may hold to pay extra, but they do it adjectives the time! It is not required that you own or insure a car until that time you can rent one! There are many society (mostly in life-size cities like New York) who do not own a motor and when they need one, they rent!
