I was driving maybe 4 sports car lengths behind him going 40-45 mph because of traffic. I saw that he kept increasing speed and when he get close up to the car behind him he'd brake and do this continuously. Then suddenly he brakes really strong causing me to brake hard. I slightly hit him and the vehicle in the back hit us. the vehicle in front of us agreed that there's nothing wrong next to his car not even a scratch on his bumper and just ours had a broken headlight. He turned his van off to use his knob to open up the back door to see if it be functioning properly and it was. Since we were the lone one damaged he said "don't report it there's no need to bring anyone else involved". We exchanged names and license plates and we both drove off, no problems. I know it's my slate but he called an hour later wise saying there's something wrong with his engine. Now recently his insurance company call asking my side. Can he really get money for this because he could've done something to his engine after.
