My insurance company have declared my car ineconomical to repair and are going to take home me an offer on it tomorrow.
I'm doing a bit of research to see roughly how much I can expect to get, so that I will hold a bit of knowledge of whether their offer is fair, before I accept.
The sports car was a 1995 M reg Vauxhall Corsa Merit. 1.2L engine. It was of nouns condition, with a little rust, but no more than what could be expected of a sports car its age. It had recently passed an M.O.T. around a month past it was stolen - & subsequently recovered, so it had around 11 months M.O.T. on it, and it have done around 100,000 miles.
I know I can't expect too much. I had the market helpfulness on it as lb500, and I believe I would have been competent to get this figure, or probably a little more, had I needed to sell it privately.
They should pay what it would cost to replace the vehicle with the same receive, model, mileage and condition. You need to do some research to find similar cars for sale. The first submit will probably not be anywhere near the value of the coupé but it is your option to reject it and they will then clear a better offer.
