Car Insurance problem?

I need to renew my motor insurance in the subsequent few days but I am also moving to a new address surrounded by under 3 weeks time. This modern address offers me much cheaper motor insurance. I don't use my car much and can do minus using it all for 3 weeks. If it is parked doing a tour and fully taxed is it a legitimate requirement to insure the vehicle even if it isn't used. I can live with it man stolen or damaged but I wouldn't want to be fined for person uninsured. The only problem beside insuring the vehicle under my current postcode is that I'm at the quirk of the insurance companies to what discount they offer me when I in reality move. All the insurers I have phoned can't guarantee a fixed price for the contemporary postcode if I register my the policy under my current postcode for the first 3 weeks. My prime concern is not to do anything illegal so at the appendage of the day it's not worth positive money if I am going to get within to trouble or be fined.

What could someone do if they bought...

Answers:    It must be insured if it is to be driven on a public road, not sure if parked up to be honest but assume it should be insured, don't you have a friend beside a drive or know of somewhere with private territory to park on for 3 weeks? I doubt the insurance company will offer a return for the difference in the premium once you move, they will simply amend the policy as change of detail.

I want backing next to driving school?

as long as its MOT and Taxed, consequently if you can leave it uninsured doing a tour (as long as you don't drive it) Thats not illeagal
