I'm currently on my parents policy and I'm wanting to move out of state w/o getting my own policy. I wanna stay on my parents policy. Can you do that? I know when you move out of state you have to capture your driver's license renewed in that state, but can the saloon I'm driving have a different state marker, etc. and me live out of state? If it sounds confusing lemme know and I'll try to rephrase it. LOL
Quit mooching...you have 30 days surrounded by a new state to register/insure your vehicle if you live contained by that state. You'll get pulled over sooner or later and whenyou give your address they will seize you for not following their states protocol. Call teh DMV for the state you are going to and make sure you know their rules.
NO!
Out of State license means You requirement insurance for that state also!
it isnt that expensive!
Answers: Since by definition of insured is normally: 1) name insured 2)spouse and 3) residents of the household - how would YOU fit into these definitions if you lived surrounded by another State?
When you get to your brand new location, you need to find you an independent agent. Just look surrounded by the local phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and call one or more of them. They should own a dozen different companies to use to help solve your insurance problems.
Now....if you can gain your parents to PAY for it in another State.....that's another story! :-)
Good luck and I hope this help!
