Car misfortune and rental?

I was rear terminated on Sunday, and I haven't been able to speak to an adjuster or claims representative (they don't answer their phones nor return call.) I have been renting a saloon since Monday. Does the other insurance company have to reimburse me for the entire loss of use period (i.e. from Monday until I obtain my car repaired,) or do they reimburse me from when the adjuster comes to look at my car and dispatch it to the shop? If the latter, is there any way I can travel about getting reimbursed for the time it took them to send the adjuster out to look at the vehicle (5 days and counting)?

If your motor is driveable the insurance company will only reimburse you for the time your car is anyone repaired at the shop. this is usually calculated by the number of repair hours on their estimate divided by 3-4 hours. if your car is non driveable, they should pay for the entire rental from the date of catastrophe. if you have not heard from a claims rep and it have been 5 days since ax, either the claim have not been reported or there is a problem beside the policy...you should probably file with your own insurance.
