just gone to deal in my car and hold been told that a hpi check have said it is an insurance write off, i own had the motor less than 4 months and be not aware of this i have a logbook and it does not mention anything on at hand about it, alos the hpi check does not vote what catergory it is example abcd, im not sure if my car is suppose to even be doing a tour im starting to panic, please recommend me on this.
Answers: If the HPI states that it has be written off,the log book should be stamped.
Also the saloon should have have a vic check.
You need to check if the moniker on the log book is the same as the retailer if so ask the seller who repaired it and what be wrong with it(ask for pictures since repair).
If the sellers baptize is on the log book and they knowingly sold it lacking telling you nearly the history, i think your best form of approach is to ask your local C A B if they hold broken the law & if so where on earth do you stand legerly. get proper counsel not peoples opinions correct luck.
