Certificate of Title?

Today, I want to sell my vehicle, but the buyer said only if I own original Certificate of Title within my name so he will buy the vehicle. I only hold the copy of Certificate of Title in the signature 1st owner. The buyer said he need it. What should I do? Can I apply online for it? Tell me the steps of procedure. Thank you!

Answers:    If I become conscious your question (and it is not really clear), you hold a vehicle that you bought and you never had the title changed into your term. You now want to trade the vehicle, but the buyer will not buy the vehicle from someone who is not the legal registered owner (which finances that the buyer is smart!)

You will need to purloin the title that you have to your state's DMV department, pay any taxes and fees, and hold a title issued in your cross. Depending on the state, you may have to hang about for them to mail it to you, or you may know how to get a title printed and given to you right here!

NO, if you never titled the car contained by your name, you can't vend it. You need to bear that title, hopefully it's the original, as you can't use a photocopy, and hold it to the DMV, and pay taxes and title fees, and enjoy it titled to YOU. Then, when you get the title within the mail (2-4 weeks) you can vend the car.

It's not yours to get rid of, until you title it.
