Confused in the order of coup¨¦ estimates..?

I got in a saloon wreck last tuesday. I took my car contained by today to a collision repair shop today and they said that they take the car apart and assess the saloon and then they write an estimate and they call me to tolerate me know whether or not they will fix the car or fill for a settelment. I am not sure how i am suppose to attain multiple estimates if at this shop they take the car apart for an estimate.I own heard several opinions on this. Basically, the individual that hit me said that she will be liable for the damages to my car and that her insurance agency will pay for the damages..I am not sure how to catch a second estimate on my car damages if they don't do estimates until they take the perfectionism apart?..Please respond asap.
