Does full coverage auto insurance usually cover a big tree branch denting your sports car?

My husband just called from work to make clear to me our car has a huge dent contained by the passenger side. Sure enough, there is a huge branch of tree in our drive way.

Before I name the insurance I wondering if you know this answer to this so I can know what to expect. I am with State Farm and have full coverage.

Yes, but you will enjoy to cover the deductible (usually $500 or $1000 dollars) So if it will cost less than that to repair the dent, You're better off simply getting it repaired and NOT filing a claim that will stay on your record and increase your premium.
JUST AS LONG AS IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT THEY SHOULD COVER IT. IF THE DENT IS TOO SMALL THEY MIGHT SAY YOU'LL HAVEE TO LIVE WITH IT.

Answers:    If you own comprehensive coverage, then you will have coverage for this chance. It is subject to whatever deductible you have on the coverage, however. Can I net a suggestion?...

Don't turn in the claim if you think the injury will fall under your deductible. These days, even when you hail as you insurance company to make a claim and it ends up that they don't pay you because your deductible is bigger than the impairment... the $0 claim can affect your premium... especially if you try to move your coverage to a cheaper company. Most people think that since it is not their shortcoming and nothing was salaried, that a claim can't affect you in any way. I am unfolding you it can and I see it every day. Take your car to acquire an estimate and if it is lower than your deductible, don't even call the insurance company.
