ECar insurance?

Anyone covered by eCar insuarance?

I'm after reviews - whether they're good, bleak, etc?

Any help would be great - thankfulness!

Answers:    They are cheap as far as rates go, but the typical review from a customer next to a claim is:

General Comments
The eCar Insurance company is useless, half the phone numbers they make available you don't work, one person told me they are investigating my claim while another told me they haven't get a claim registered on my account. They took weeks to opt what they are doing with my motor during which time I was not eligible for a courtesy coupé, despite paying extra to get one! No one know what they are talking something like, I had my luck 5 weeks ago and still nothing is up, they even confused my claim with one from a few months vertebrae (yes I was unlucky plenty to have 2 accident in 6 months) which have already been settled and closed. I doubt my claim will ever be sorted out.

After making a claim, 6 weeks later it have still not been sorted out. And I enjoy now be given 21 different telephone numbers to different departments, adjectives of whom say I hold the wrong number and need to appointment this other number.

General Comments
I had an disaster in rash December and no one else be involved. It took until the 2nd of January to call an assessor out to my appointed garage, which they be definitely not comfortable with. One year they said that the car be a write off. The subsequent day they said it could be repaired, after I was told it be a write off. I starting looking for another similar vehicle and found that it would cost me an extra 2,000 because we got this saloon cheap. I needed 6000 to replace it, and eCar car insurance offered me 3600, which be a joke. They said the aero top be a modification, which it was not. It be just the style of my Toyota Supra 3.0l aero. They said I have racing wheel, but they were the bog standard wheel for the car. It is still on-going today, 17th January. The ombudsmen are in a minute involved.

They are refusing to earnings the storage fees at the garage, and they say I enjoy to pay them because I used my own garage. They don't want to settle for the pick up either. I will be buying another sports car this weekend, and I am still awaiting a reasonable give.

My husband and I also use them to insure our motorbikes. They had the audacity to distribute me through my renewal a couple of days ago. Neither of us will be using them again. It would be well worth spending an extra lb100 to return with good insurance. The garage where on earth my car is still at enjoy been surrounded by business for over 30 years, and say they own never ever dealt next to an insurance claim like this up to that time.

Bottom line, inexpensive next to little or no customer service or claims resolution.
