Expired Drivers License, ticketed- involve information?

My DL expired on my birthday last year (its been over 6 months). I get pulled over Saturday while they were doing random alcohol checks and they cited me for an expired OL.
So I appointment my insurance company today to ask them to send me proof of insurance to show when I go to court Feb 4th. My husband and I not long separated in December and the mail he's have forwarded to his address. So they tell me the payment be not made in January and now the policy be cancelled on the 14th. Im FREAKING OUT now.In Ohio insurance is REQUIRED.
Up until he left, I never really ever drove because I didnt enjoy to. (We have 5 young children together and) Now not individual am I screwed because my OL is more than 6 months expired- but Im driving under expired insurance. My court date is on the 4th. Im willing to nick my punishments and pay my fines but I am wondering what to expect and if I should go ahead and acquire my DL renewed NOW and get my OWN policy without my husband on it or what. Thank you for your tim

Can I receive a sports car insurance...

I got pulled over in CT once near an expired license plate. The cop could've towed me, but let me drive home. I plead not guilty and they automatically dropped everyone's ticket down one notch. For ancestors without license or insurance they dropped the charge if you proved you had them contained by court.

This is not the end of the world. Insurance can be reinstated, your fines will likely be minimal, and it'll adjectives work out. If you're really worried, get local a lawyer. They can usually fix stuff similar to this easily, as they know the system and all the players (people within the court)

Good luck.

Get your own policy and renew your license immediately, by the way.
i would right to be heard just get a exotic license...

Does anyone here hold their auto insurance...

Yes to getting a strange driver's license and insurance renewed. although you weren't cited for expired insurance so the only think you own to worry about it your expired DL.

If you own extra cash seek a advocate.

What are the procedures surrounded by applying...

I would get your own policy and renew your DL. Obviously you and your husband aren't communicating very capably, and he can't (or didn't) pay the insurance. At least if you're covered, you know you've get it. Show proof of insurance and your renewed DL and it shows the judge that you're taking responsibility for your actions. Also, when you budge to court, dress nice and look sorry.
isn't your husband a cop? can't he get you out of this?

Answers:    Yes, renew your license in a minute and get your own policy, preferably before your court date. Just be advise that doing both of these won't get you out of paying your fines entirely but it will show the judge that you ARE doing something almost it and may even reduce your fine in the process.
