OK so I was parked on the right side of the street facing south. I tried making a U-turn so I can obtain into the lane with the disparate traffic going North. Right as my bumper crossed into the next disappeared lane this 92 Toyota Camry comes and hit me. Now this is my first accident so i be nerves. I asked the lady that I get in the fluke with can we in recent times somehow settle it on spot.
She said no, she took all my information, but stupid of me I get nothing of hers not even her license plate number. The subsequent dumb part of me is the saloon was not registered at the time or Insured. Like two weeks subsequent I get a note from her insurance company claiming the accident be 100% my fault and I owe $4000 for that 92 Camry because they arranged to total it.
I live in California and they enjoy the dumbest rules here, now I
really don't know what to do. Do i only just pay the $4000 or is at hand a way I can disagree this or maybe even lower the asking amount.
Can anyone oblige?
