im turning 16 soon and my dad has told me he will match the amount of money i own saved, ive got a touch over 7 grand so i will get roughly that from him, total 14 thousand or so.i want a 2005 mustang with a v6 for insurance purposes, anyone have any thinking on if that would be a good car for me,except wat would be?
attain a used one thats cheap on gas and btw most starters end up bangin up there first motor anyway.
Answers: It has been my experience that in 18 months, you will have a wreck. It might be minor, or, it might be major - but, you will enjoy a wreck.
So...which would you rather do? Buy the Mustang (obviously your dream car) and wreck IT or would you rather buy a "hooptie", bring back some experience driving and wreck IT...then when you get for a moment older, buy your dream car.
I guess that your Dad would understand your decision and still hold the same offer for you subsequent on down the line.
Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this helps!

i would say take an old muscle car but for insurance you dont want to
my suggestion is a truck because A) if you acquire into the accident our friend the insurance broker foresees it wont do too much damage B) its practical and adjectives C) insurance is usually pretty cheap on older trucks
now the singular reason i support your mustang idea is because our same insurance broker friend said you are gaurenteed to wreck it, and intuitively i have no problems with a mustang getting destabilized, i just hope you dont get hurt
(and yes i realize i will probably not draw from voted as best answer just because of that remark) Honda Civic...best starter car ever!
