In NJ, it states that you need proof of insurance to verbs a title. How can i get proof of insurance if I don't own the title under my identify? Can I get insurance since tranferring the title, or can i get insurance lacking transferring the title? Title is transferring from my dad to me.
Answers: Most insurance companies will issue the insurance without the title surrounded by your name and most don’t require to even see the title.
Just name your agent and get him to translation the register owner in your cross.
Also check with the DMV most the time they don’t require proof of insurance for this. My state doesn't.
