Good deal on sports car insurance?

Ok so me and my wife have been insured by American Family Insurance and reward about $400 a year. My 17 year old son not long got his license and we want to add him to our policy. He narrowly drives (we only have one car), but we want to join his name just contained by case. When I asked Amer. Fam. Ins., they gave a quote for almost $1000 a year, which is more than double the amount I'm currently paying!! And that's beside the Good Student Discount as well!! I was wondering if any of you guys know a reliable company that could provide a cheaper rate.

UK road tariff press please?

Hit and run, slowness of my own...

Answers:    Typically, insurance rates will oscillate from State to State and can even vary by ZIPCODE! It also will depend on the type of car/truck, coverages, limits of liability, and driving dictation. Some companies run credit scores and MOST run a motor vehicle report and CLUE (Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange) report to see about undisclosed catastrophe involvement.

The rate for a newly licensed 17 year old is going to be HIGH beside ANY company, but, this sounds a little TOO high to me! But, American Family is lone ONE company out of 100s that are licensed to do business in your State.

The best thing to do is phone up a LOCAL independent agent. Don't go across town, or to some other city - look for someone CLOSE. Just look in the phone book for the PIA or Big I (Trusted Choice) logos and you will find a professional licensed agent that will be capable of help you solve your insurance problems, and give you rate comparisons of several different companies.

An independent insurance agent will generally have a dozen different companies and if he cannot help you, he should be network with other local agents that can.

In my agency, we have companies that do NOT run a credit chalk up and welcome drivers with "smaller number than perfect" driving records, and have companies that specialize surrounded by youthful and/or newly licensed drivers.

Most of the replies on this site right to be heard "go to this on-line carrier or that on-line mover or that 1-800 number" but I'm sure that when you do, you will find some impersonal computer user with a script to work from and you won't be capable of talk with impossible to tell apart person every time you have a problem!

Good luck, drive RESPONSIBLY and I hope this help!
