hi folks, im currently getting prepared to sit my part one (theory and hazard perception). im wanting to become a driving instructor but am finding it extremely difficult as im 21 working full time and renting a home. these tests dont come cheap. has anyone any proposal. i dont drink or smoke and save as much as i can
Do NOT bother going any further. To fully qualify you need to spend 6 months working for an existing driving college - my brother started to do this bit and after all the expenses (car hire, fuel, admin etc) were taken out of the fees he collected, he be left with a moment ago lb5 to last him the whole month, and out of this have to pay back the loan he have taken out to pay for the course, and anything else he needed. At the time he was living next to our parents and he does NOT drink or smoke either.
I echo what Ian L said.
I presume you already enjoy the DSA info pack on qualifying, pick one of the ORDIT registered instructors in the pack, don't travel with anyone without ORDIT accreditation.
Some instructor courses do a income as you learn scheme which might be worth investigating.
DO NOT attempt parts 2&3 short any instruction, they are dificult and part 3 in unique has a very low leave behind rate.
Just study as hard as possible because 2 and 3 are tough.
'Part 2' is a test of the candidate driving ability and lasts for one hour covering plentiful types of roads and conditions, a high level of competence is required and adjectives manoeuvres are tested.
'Part 3' is a test of instructional ability and last for one hour which is broken into two phases. In phase one the examiner will role play a pupil of beginner stage and will be expected to be instructed accordingly, for the second phase the examiner will role play a pupil of check standard/a pupil who have failed their trial or a full license holder. In order to pass the candidate must achieve at least a order 4 in each.
Parts 2 and 3 must be passed inside two years of the successful part 1 attempt, in totalling to this Parts 2 and 3 are limited to three attempts in any two year interval.

Answers: Do NOT go beside The Instructor College (the ones who advertise on TV) - get yourself some professional tuition to obtain you upto Part 2 Driving Test standard and Part 3 Instructional Test Standard.
If you think this job is glib, then remember that only 1 within 40 who start out actually manage to fully qualify, so build sure you have the motivation to Instruct.
You don't have to do 6 months next to a school (although it is an option) - and i clear well over lb5/month after expenses are taken out!
Good Luck near the Part 1 - and the rest of your course.

Have you actually passed your driving test? I could not craft out the part about sitting your chunk one. If you do not yet hold a ful drivers license then one-sidedly I would get some real driving experience aft you before going on to teach others. Once I passed my question paper then that was the easier said than done part, learning to drive by myself. You not often get to drive in fog, snow, rime, the middle of the night and on motorways during a driving lesson, to name but a few. If you enjoy a full licence then ignore this, I will shut up and agree to you get a more constructive answer from someone else who will probably know more..best of luck anyway.
