Moved to Toronto from Montreal a while back (for school) and I need to switch my license.
How would I walk about doing this? On the sites I find, it says I enjoy to do the driving test and all that- is that right??!

Answers: Used not to be. You used to walk to a license office and explain that you have moved here and would approaching to have an Ontario lic. Might have changed, but move about to a reasonable office and ask, approaching the one at the plaza just east of Kipling and Eglinton Av W in Etobicoke (north side of eglinton and posterior side of plaza). Really nice and helpful in in attendance, answer all questions.
The process be to fill out a form for the address change and license amend. They took your picture and issued you a temp lic until the other came in the letters. NOw if your Quebec lic is due to expire in a few months they may want you to apply for an Ontatrio one and maybe even do a testing, but it never was that way back. So go and ask...
