How will this twist of fate affect my insurance?

It was a minor fluke, I was approval out and she rushed down the one way street, looking the other direction, slowed down, and as I be doing a quick check on my right, I back into her now slower moving motor. She didn't even see me cuz she was looking the other means of access. My car took no injury at all but she have a pretty big dent in her driver side. We be probably equally at fault, she should own come down so fast and should own looked around, not just to her right, and I should hold almost stopped to check my right, then look pay for and resume backing right? I own a $500 deductible and my rate is $170 per month. Does anyone know how it can affect my insurance rates, particularly if the repairs cost over or underneath $500, depending on which? I would love some information with someone who works contained by the field or have experienced something similar.

Thank you.

Answers:    Even if she was not involved, the accident will be considered your slate entirely since she had the right of channel and you hit her side, rather than her hitting you near the front of her car.

Did you phone call the police and file an stroke of luck report? Were you given a ticket? If not, you can try to settle it between the two of you by just paying to hold her vehicle fixed. Does she seem restrained? Ask her to get an estimate or two and see how much it is. If it is smaller quantity than $1000 or so, you will probably be better off paying for it yourself. You enjoy to pay the deductible anyway, and the increase within your premiums will be for a few years - not really worth it.

If she is going to try to get far more than the actual repair cost, agree to your insurance company handle it.

You be at fault since you back into her. Your insurance will probably go up, how much will depend on your age and time beside them. Might be better to see if you can handle it in need telling them. Get a few estimates from local body shops and see what the cost will be.
