I did something similar I did 40 within a 30. They stay on your licence for 3 years. However I was given the option of 3 points lb60 fine or lb85 no points and attend a speed awareness course. Im attending it on Feb 28th be speeding in early Nov or unpunctually Oct. Shouldnt make much difference, however ring to get a few quote and see if its worth paying lb25 extra and not have the points.
