When i was trying to leave college the lot was crazy, there be kids running around and parked poorly, and i nudged a car trying to seize out. I didn't really think much of it untill I got home and realize that i had a pretty nice chip on my car.. What should i do? I perceive horrible right now, i didn't think it did any plunder considering i was practically idling.
you bumped someone and didnt reflect on it caused any damage, so you didnt notify the person. thats not a crime.now you notice that you may have caused spoil and you feel bad nearly it. good for you. there's nothing you can do just about it unless you know who's car it was. if you cant contact the entity before monday, then dont produce a big deal about it until monday. if for some plea the police do show up at your door, they arent there to arrest you. all they will do is ask you what happen. all you have to read aloud to them is you didnt think you bumped them hard ample to cause damage, and the parking lot be a mad house, so you couldnt get out to check. convey them that you noticed a ding in your motor and that you planned on talking to the owner right away on monday and explain yourself. the worst thing that could possibly come out of this is that you or your insurance company will enjoy to pay for a small repair and you might have to recompense a few extra bucks per month. you haven't committed a crime.

i would keep quit roughly it.
do nothing. it will come back to you e.g. someone is going to do matching thing to you. well sir.. you may learn a vastly harsh lesson..
you commited a hit and run.. which is a criminal offense.
if just ONE PERSON get your license plate.. gave it to the owner.. and they call the police... you will enjoy not only damages to the car to run care of.. but a criminal case as ably.
Was that really worth it? What on earth do you mean "i didnt construe much of it"- you didnt think it was a big operation that you damaged another persons property?! How self-seeking are you?
I suggest you cross your fingers that the police dont show up this weekend (they very well may- they showed up at the guy who hit and run my car) and then monday talk to the front organization and find out if they know whos car it is.
Be a good character.. geesh.

Answers: On Monday, if you authorize the vehicle that you may have struck, consider contacting the owner. Since you feel fruitless, you obviously have polite morals, and you should be proud of yourself.

LA42whatever is blowing the situation way out of the marine. first off, you have a convinced time frame to legally report an accident, your situation is just an accident, it was a small paint chip. if you come forward and bring up to date the owner about what happened on monday, you are still inside your given time frame to report it, if you even need to. telling the party is definately the right thing to do, but dont feel startled about being charged next to a hit and run, it just wont happen.you bumped someone and didnt reflect on it caused any damage, so you didnt notify the person. thats not a crime.now you notice that you may have caused spoil and you feel bad nearly it. good for you. there's nothing you can do just about it unless you know who's car it was. if you cant contact the entity before monday, then dont produce a big deal about it until monday. if for some plea the police do show up at your door, they arent there to arrest you. all they will do is ask you what happen. all you have to read aloud to them is you didnt think you bumped them hard ample to cause damage, and the parking lot be a mad house, so you couldnt get out to check. convey them that you noticed a ding in your motor and that you planned on talking to the owner right away on monday and explain yourself. the worst thing that could possibly come out of this is that you or your insurance company will enjoy to pay for a small repair and you might have to recompense a few extra bucks per month. you haven't committed a crime.
