I hit a pole at about 12 at darkness at a gas station. There was no wreckage to the pole, but the driver side door, cab, and bed get messed up pretty bad. i didn't nickname the cops because there be no car-on-car collision and the pole was impeccably fine. I know my rates will go up, but will insurance cover this? I own All State
It depends if you own collision coverage, and what your deductible is. Depends on your history on whether your ins will go up.
I did like peas in a pod thing at a hill about 15 years ago. I have Allstate, comprehensive, and they covered it.

Answers: If you were not on a public road and the gas station have no damage I reflect on the cops have no interest within that situation.
Insurance, minus your deductible, will cover that. If they will pay adequate after the deductible then it is worth reporting. Allstate however have a bad reputation for dropping race who file claims. They vanished Massachusetts (and are not in "All-States") after that reputation get them in trouble.
